Jane Ericksen Vocal Performer New York

Jane Ericksen is excited to play Mrs. White this summer in “Clue (Forestburgh Playhouse)!” Other favorite roles include: Peppa Pig in “Peppa Pig’s Adventure (US National Tour-Round Room Live),” Angie in “Bettor Days (ESPN+)," The City-Her in “The Gifts of the Magi (Walnut Street Theatre)," Madame De la Grande Bouche in “Beauty and the Beast (The Ritz Theatre)," and Sally Brown in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” (Town and Country Players).

Jane has a Masters Degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, in Princeton, NJ. During this time she had the wonderful opportunity to perform under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin alongside the Philadelphia Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and The Kimmel Center. Outside of her degree program, Jane has studied classical voice with Laura Brooks Rice (Metropolitan Opera) and contemporary music techniques with Christopher Arneson (Paris Opera, New York Philharmonic, etc.). Jane loves exploring the anatomy and physiology of the voice and how that relates to singing ALL musical genres healthily (and stylistically correct) and is passionate about bringing that knowledge to her clients, as well!

Jane was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and loves exploring the outdoors wherever she goes… or sitting outdoors while drinking wine (either are fine!). On rainy days, Jane can be found OBSESSING over true crime podcasts (current favs. are Crime Junkie and My Favorite Murder), reading thriller or romance novels on her kindle (there is no in-between!), or exploring new music on her piano and ukulele. Jane is a self proclaimed “crazy cat lady" and lives with her husband and orange tabby, Liona, in Princeton, NJ.
