Jane Ericksen most recently appeared in Bristol Riverside Theatre’s production of The Christians (Choir Member). Other roles include; McCarter Theatre’s A Christmas Carol (featured soloist/ensemble), The Ritz Theatre’s Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Madame de la Grande Bouche), Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown , Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Kate in Oklahoma, Calliope (u/s) in Xanadu, and Sandy in Grease.
Jane has a Masters Degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, in Princeton, NJ. During this time she had the wonderful opportunity to perform under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin alongside the Philadelphia Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and The Kimmel Center. Jane has studied voice with Laura Brooks Rice (Metropolitan Opera- Wowkle in La Fanciulla del West), Christopher Arneson (Netherlands Opera, Paris Opera, New York Philharmonic), and taken several courses at the Atlantic Theatre Company and Upright Citizens Brigade in New York City. She also currently coaches with Broadway and Television Star, Anne L. Nathan (It Shoulda Been You, Once, Sunday in the Park with George, Thoroughly Modern Millie).
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jane is a long distance hiker, rock climber, and has downhill skied throughout the Cascade Mountain Range. When she is not enjoying the outdoors, Jane likes to explore new music on her piano or ukulele. In a desperate effort to avoid tripping over her own two feet, Jane is trained in ballet, tap, and jazz. In her urban garden, she grows vegetables, herbs, flowers, and hopes to one day earn her Gardner Scout Badge. A crazy cat lady and proud supporter of the "Adopt, Don't Shop" movement, she rescued her adorable fur baby Liona.
